Moni Begum’s childhood was shadowed by extreme poverty. As she grew up, she became determined to change her family’s fate. She trained in tailoring, and eventually opened her own shop. She trains other girls in the trade, helping them stitch their way to the future – just like she did.
Since 2012, over 120,000 young people have equipped themselves with hands-on skills training from BRAC, securing a path to employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.
